Themes and Ideas

Every wedding I help co-ordinate will be different and based on the ideas and themes discussed with the couple at the consultations. Below are a couple of ideas to get you thinking.

Spring Wedding Table Setting Idea

This table setting used stationery by Cherry Gorgeous and flowers by Firenza Floral Design. The idea was to mix a vintage and English garden look with seasonal flowers. The flowers were displayed in a teacup within a lantern. For an alternative look the flowers could be displayed in a teacup at each place setting or within a bird cage for example. Lavender and a white feather was used with ribbon to decorate each napkin.

Moroccan Theme Wedding Idea

Rich colours, cushions and drapes of silk combined with lively North African music and the smell of scented oils and spices. Complete the look with a menu of stuffed vine leaves, lamb tangines, mint tea and belly dancers for an exotic Moroccan inspired wedding.

Green/Ethical Weddings

Want to have your dream wedding with minimal impact to your carbon footprint and do your bit your charity? I can help you plan a 'green' wedding. Your designer dress could come from Oxfam's bridal department, or you could have a dress made from organic, fairly traded fabrics. A menu of organic, locally produced food and drinks, conflict-free jewellery, and eco-friendly gift list and your invitations on recycled paper. Your weddng may have minimal impact on the environment but that doesn't mean compromising on style and quality.
